I'm trying to upload journal entries to replace a manual sales receipt process at the moment. My journal entry includes a GST Payable line. I see these figures in my chart of accounts, but am not seeing it being picked up when I go to the Taxes section and prepare to file. What am I missing to fix this?

I am having the same issue.
When I import the JE it shows as no gst on Sales.
Then I have to go manually into the JE to modify the GST sales and divide amount for 1.05 and enter the new amount to make it match.(Please see the attachment)
There is any why to import the JE with GST (Sales) information?
Hi KORA,
Thanks for joining us here. Importing your journal entries in QuickBooks Online is a great way to save valuable time with manual entries. However, it's important to review the 'sample file', to view what data will be included during the import process. To review the sample file, follow these steps;
1. Go to your Settings ⚙ and select Import Data
2. Click on the tile for Journal Entries
3. Open the hyperlink to Download an example
Should you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us, using one of the methods provided by my colleague, JamesM4.
Feel free to reach back out if you have other questions. We'd be happy to help!
