Hi there,
It's a great idea to add your QB Online Advanced Certificate on your LinkedIn, profile as that makes you stand out more. I'll be glad to share more information on this so you can continue with editing your LinkedIn profile.
QuickBooks is a great program which makes it easy for you to manage your clients. To show that you have a QuickBooks Online Advanced certificate, you'd need to download the badge from your QB Online Accountant account and upload it to your LinkedIn profile. Here's how to download the certification badge:
From here, you can upload the badge to your LinkedIn profile. For certifications that are older than the currently-available exams, check out this helpful article here: Access your certification history.
Give this a try and if you have questions, I recommend contacting our support team using this link. Otherwise, feel free to leave a comment below. I'll be on standby.
James,
When I click on my Linkedin profile under certifications, there is no upload button to use. Only the Credential URL and Credential ID.
Am I missing something ?
I see. Normally, you'd use the downloadable badge but since you're not seeing that option, I recommend contacting LinkedIn support. They'll be able to go over how you can upload the badge from QuickBooks. Let me know if you have questions. I'm here to help.
I am trying to do the same thing for a client. I want to link the Quickbooks company to her LinkedIn certification designation. I can link the company Intuit, and also the Quickbooks Mexico showcase page, but not the LinkedIn page that is the "showcase page" for USA Intuit Quickbooks: https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/quickbooks/. It is on your team's end to allow for that linking I believe. Please advise.
Hello @lisavirtuecoaching,
Thank you for sharing a reference to discuss a few things about your concern. Since you're still unable to associate your client's certification to the LinkedIn profile, I'd recommend contacting our ProAdvisor Support.
From there, one of our specialists can pull up your account and your client as well and guide you on how to associate each profile. To do so:
In addition, here's an article to learn more about how you can reach our support base on this schedule: Contact QuickBooks Online Accountant and ProAdvisor Support.
Lastly, I've also included this helpful article for a compilation of the most questions asked by other experts about your certification: The QuickBooks Certification Program.
If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know by leaving any comments below. Stay safe!
Hi! I am having the same problem.
I already downloaded my certificate & badge on my local computer but I can't seem to find an option to link it on my LinkedIn profile.
In my LinkedIn profile, it's asking for a Credential ID and Credential URL, which I don't have. There's also no option to upload my certificate. How do I connect it?
If you scroll down that window you should see "Add Media" button. When you hit it, you'll be able to upload your QBO ProAdvisor badge. I know, it'sstill not the same as the credential's ID or URL but better than nothing at all,
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
