Hi a.scott.james,

Being able to customize your QuickBooks Online account to best suit your needs is something that we focus on. I'd be happy to help you with modifying your dashboard.

The setup guide is something we included to help you with getting the most out of your QuickBooks Online account. Since it touches base on every aspect of your account it may have things that you personally don't plan to use now or even in the future. At this time the only ways to close it would be to finish the set up or you can hide it by clicking the hide button.

There is also another feature of QuickBooks Online that you can use called feedback. This is used to send thoughts and feedback directly to our programmers to let them know what you're looking for in future updates. To access this feature you just need to click: Gear>Feedback.

Hope you have a great one!

I as well do not want to tag a bank account or accept payments, I find this annoying and do not wish to continue to see resume setup
