Will Quickbooks Desktop Pro Trial version data move over when license is purchased?

Thank you for your reply. Perfect, I thought so but needed to make sure it's been a bit since I used Quickbooks. Our issue is that the old Bookkeeper made errors with QBO and I was hired to correct as they are a non-profit organization. I was hoping to undo the bank recs and start over but QBO will not import to desktop for Canada. 

They don't have an accountant as of yet so I can't get them to undo the bank recs.

If you are using the trial version for QBD 2021, you can still purchase the one time (outright) license for it later.

Technically, you can migrate data from QBO CA to QBD CA but it takes effort and cost. We had to migrate the data to QBO US version as a first step, then convert to the QBD US version before switching to the QBD CA version.
