Payroll tax payment not showing up in bank reconciliation or search

The program allows for you to search for data entries using the Advanced Search feature. In order to take advantage of this feature, click on the Magnifying glass at the top right of your account > once the search drop-down appears, click on the blue link that says Advanced Search > on the search filter, select the matching criteria, and specifically filter it to show the line description. After hitting Search, you'll be able to see the entries you're looking for based on the search criteria you use. For search functions that go beyond these steps, I recommend sending feedback to our engineers so the desired search functions can be considered for future program updates. To send feedback, click on the Gear icon > Feedback.

That is the by far the worst reply I have ever seen when attempting to solve a problem. Customers know how to use the search function. A government payment is not appearing on the reconciliation page -- that is the problem.

When you record your Payroll Tax payment in QuickBooks Online, you'll need to make the payment outside of your account.  This ensures your payment is received, and recorded in your associated bank account, so you can reconcile seamlessly.  If you would like to pay and file payroll taxes and forms electronically, click here.
