Hi there joe-pipedriveexp,
It's important that all your transactions are entered correctly for your books to be balanced. QuickBooks Payments is a great tool to help you send invoices to your customers with payment links for your customers to easily pay you for your services. I can point you in the right direction for assistance.
If you have a Canadian QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Self-Employed account, the payments are able to be deposited in a Canadian account. If you have an account in the United States or another region, then I would recommend reaching out to the support team for that region to make sure it can be deposited, or if not, what kind of account is required for deposits.
If your account is a Canadian QuickBooks account, and you have the deposit error mentioned above, then I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Payments support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your Payments account with you to see the cause of the deposit error, so it can be resolved so you can deposit the payment. You can reach them using these steps:
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and X / Twitter
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
Good day
I extend my thanks to the member of Quickbooks that tried to help... but I regret that I still do not have the funds in my account.
The banking informtion has been correctly entered into the account.
I am getting no emails of any kind (not errors, not confirmations, nothing).
I have called every day for a week, and most recently I was (politely) told that I would have to wait until after the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA in order to obtain information regarding this deposit into my Canadian bank from a Canadian customer, placed over 20 days ago.
It is becoming difficult to recommend QuickBooks Payments. Indeed, very difficult.

Hi joe-pipedriveexp,
I can understand your concern when a customer payment has not been received. If you're new to QuickBooks Online Payments, the first transaction will take a little longer to be deposited into your bank. However, the error code '900' as mentioned above, indicates that Merchant Services was unable to locate the account. The account number doesn't match the individual on the payment, or the account isn't valid. To edit your bank account, click here. Once the information has been confirmed, you'll need to contact us outside of Community to have your funds released as soon as possible!
Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We would be happy to help!
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
