Hello,
I am a new user to QBO. I want to let my bookkeeper see all the bank feeds from RBC (Royal Bank of Canada ), so that he can book all the journal entries and reconcile with the bank accounts. However, I don't want give him the login password to the RBC online banking. Is there a way to do that? I read an article here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-au/bank-feeds/connecting-your-bank-account-to-quickbo...
But it only works in Australia. I am wondering if similar feature (Direct Feeds) is available in Canada. Thanks!
Best regards,
Leo
Afaik, the feature is only available for QBO AU version and some banks in AU. You may consider to download the bank statement file for your bookkeeper and let her/him import the file manually into your QBO account later. Bear in mind, you will need a 3rd party tool to import PDF files.
You can give read-only access to your bookkeeper. He will not be able to make any payments from it. But he will be able to log in and download statements.
Most banks will provide it at no-extra charge.
Hello smartleo. Thanks for connecting with us here. I can see the importance of being able to add a user that can only view the bank feed. Since this feature isn't available, I highly encourage you to send feedback about this to our product developers. To do this, click on the Gear icon and look for Feedback.
