How can I fix payroll taxes after my migration to QBO; it currently has the next filing period dated in 2013? (its not 2013... )

Hi accounting-can-n,

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online Payroll enables you to set up and edit your payroll remittance frequency and beginning date.  I would be glad to assist!

Follow these steps to set your Federal Tax information;

1. Open your Settings ⚙, then select Payroll settings

2. Click on the Edit  in the Federal tax section

3. Enter the required fields, then select Edit in the How often do you pay your taxes? section

4. Select the form used to calculate and submit your payroll taxes to the CRA, using the ▼ dropdown menu

5. Choose How often do you pay your taxes?

6. Select the Effective date

Note:  You can Delete other forms as you see necessary

7. Hit Save

8. Hit Refresh, or log out then sign back into QuickBooks

9. Proceed to the Payroll tax center and review the next filing period to ensure it's accurate

If needed, follow these steps to set the filing/payment period;

1. Open Payroll tax then open the Payments tab

2. Click on Payment history

3. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to select This year, or use the calendar

Should you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us outside of Community. We'd love the opportunity to work with you in real time, and ensure you're able to accomplish your payroll goals without delay!

Feel free to reach back out with any other questions.  We would be happy to help!
