Quickbooks automatic update is not downloading new tax tables, still have old ones that expired June 20, 2024.
Have tried a dozen times and support is non existent! Have clicked on 'contact us' a dozen times, keep looping back to the non support pages. Wasted a full hour trying to get help. Totally ridiculous.

Thanks for reaching out about updating your payroll. QuickBooks Desktop Payroll is a great tool able to assist you in paying your employees for the hours they've worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance.
For help with updating your tax tables, you would need to reach out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your software with you in a secure setting in order to assist with getting it up to date for payroll totals. You can reach them using the phone number or chat link outlined in the QuickBooks Desktop support policies. The hours are also mentioned in the article.

I have the same issue - Payroll Tax not updating as usual.
I am not sure why we have to call to have the software updated.

It's important that your QuickBooks product is updated to the latest release, otherwise you won't be able to take advantage of the automatic update feature, including the July Tax table update. With that being said, you will need to manually update the payroll tax table at this time. Please review your email, as the new license would have been sent out in September. If you're not able to locate it, please contact our QuickBooks Desktop specialists at 1-833-317-2226, Mon-Fri: 9am-8pm ET. They'll be able to verify your account in a secure setting and get you back to business as soon possible!
