I was able to download the 2024 version but now it is asking for a product number.

I have tried to follow all the steps in the update from 2023 to 2024 with zero luck. I have done the "update now", the sync license date online, and closed and opened my QB desktop several times. It just tells me all my info is up to date, and that my payroll license is active, but I need the new payroll tables. Please help!
And I just waited 45 minutes on the phone, and got hung up on before my call was answered.

I am trying to do the same. Using Chat from within QB Pro has me go through hoops to log in with email, confirm phone number, enter an email verification then enter a phone verification and then the chat window says "Thank you for using chat. The session is now closed".

The first update for QuickBooks Desktop is every January. Please be advised that you would need to run QuickBooks as the Admin, then proceed to the Help menu to reset the updates. To ensure you have access to all feature updates, I encourage you to upgrade your QuickBooks to the latest release, typically every July. Otherwise, you won't be able to take advantage of the automatic update feature, including the July Tax table update.
At this time, you will need to manually update the payroll tax table. Please review your email, as the new license would have been sent out in September. If you're not able to locate it, please contact our QuickBooks Desktop specialists at 1-833-317-2226, Mon-Fri: 9am-8pm ET. They will be able to verify your account in a secure setting and get you back to business as soon possible!
