QuickBooks simplifies the way you back up your data. I encourage you to check out this article that shows you how to: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file. Once you've backed up your data, you can reference the following article as it shows you how to: Restore a backup of your company file. If you are unable to restore the backup file directly on QBD 2021, you may need to install the trial version for QBD 2016 as the stepping stone.
