Clearing cache and cookies is a great way to clean your browser allowing it to work more efficiently. Here's an article that shows you how to do that: Clear cache and cookies.

I have the same issue. Has this been solved? What do I do? I have cleared my cookies, restarted my computer, tried different browsers, tried incognito mode, etc. Nothing works and it still freezes when I get past 4 or 5 lines.

I have had the same issue. Trying to edit and input multiple lines in a split transaction becomes very slow after more than about 15 lines. Also tried different browsers, clearing caches and cookies, disabling browser efficiency modes and restarts. Did QB support respond with any different solutions?
This seems to be an issue on their end.
QBO was not able to help me, even after a lot of back and forth. I figured it out on my own. When I am going through all the transactions and there is one that needs to be split, I do not split it. I just add it in as the total amount into any account and ensure it is the correct Supplier or Customer. Then I go to that Supplier or Customer's page and "Edit" the transaction. I can change everything, have as many lines as I want in there, and no freezing. This way is thankfully only a few extra clicks.
Thank you for the tip and reply, much appreciated.
I will have to give this a try next time I have to post a split transaction.
