Both browsers open my quickbooks normally on my pc, but not sure how that is suposse to help me with my mileage tracking not working on my phone?
Everything on my phone is set the right way. Reinstalled the app, deleted cache, checked your web for all input set my phone to allow on every single thing from battery to location tracking, but the tracking is still not recording anything. Not even if I press tracking manually.

Same goes for me, automatic mileage tracking stopped working 1 most ago, my last automatically recorded trips are from Sept 24th 2024.
I also reinstalled the app, cleared cache, did all the recommended actions to authorize the app, disable battery optimization and the in app mileage setting are all green indicators... Should be recording!
I filled two bug reports so for with no follow up.
I reached with the official QBO support and they told me that there is an ongoing bug for Android App... Hopefully, this will get fixed ASAP!

Hi JeanFrancois64,
I also recommend that you uninstall, then reinstall the app. This will ensure it's up-to-date, then set up the automatic mileage tracking feature. In addition, I suggest reviewing this guide, to fix mileage tracking issues.

Same exact thing for me. I have a Samsung S24 Ultra and the QBSE app stopped tracking miles after October 3, 2024. In the apps mileage settings, I keep getting a red exclamation point by the batter optimization even though I've followed every instruction - allowed to use data all the time, never put to sleep, allowed to run in the background, etc. There isn't any more allowance and permissions I can grant the app, What's weird is that I get the push notification that the auto mileage tracking feature is working - you know, that small icon of the car with a green dot above it. But when I open the app, no trip has been tracked. This is so frustrating as I've had to manually add all of my business and medical related trips. Quickbooks, please fix this error soon!
