Unable to email receipts to forwarding email

Hi! 

 

I'm trying to set up emailing receipts to my quickbooks account.

i followed the guide here Email receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online (intuit.com)

and both my email address and my admins email address are set to have permission to send.

 

However, when I send an email with mine [email address removed] which is my login and the email i'm sending from I get the following email 'Your receipt wasn’t received because it was sent from an email that’s not registered for receipt forwarding.' 

 

I can confirm my account has permission to send, it also has permission to create vendors etc and has admin access.

If i forward the email to my admin and she forwards it to our qbodocs email it works fine.

Hi tmcgowan1066,

 

Welcome to Community!  The QuickBooks Online Receipts feature is a dynamic way to upload your bills and expenses effortlessly.  Once this feature has been set up, users can be given permission to forward receipts.  

 

Here's how:

 

1. Click on Transactions from the left menu, then open the Receipts tab

2. Select Manage forwarding email

3. Turn on the toggle for the users you want to give permission to forward receipts

4. When you’re done, hit Close.

Note;  You can only register one email address per user.

Hi.

 

Like I said I followed all those steps and it still says my email is not set up for it. I attached the screenshot that shows my email is opted in to have permission to send the invoices.

In order to better assist you, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to verify your account details in a secure setting, as well as view your screen to guide you in the right direction. You can reaching them by following these steps:

 

Schedule a Callback: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback.
