Why our mileage auto-tracking just stops working once in a while. The auto-tracking function needs to be switched on again to re-anable it in the app. Why does it happen?

Hi there,

 

Mileage tracking is a great feature which allows you to automatically record your trips which saves you time. I'd be glad to give you a hand making sure the feature works at all time. 

 

Based on what you've described, I recommend checking your phone location settings. Here's how you can check if your phone has correct location permissions enabled.

 

iOS

  • Make sure your phone’s location permissions are set to “Always”.
  • For the most accurate trip tracking, make sure to enable Motion & Fitness permission.

Android (Coming soon)

  • Make sure your phone’s location permissions are set to “Allow all the time” and physical activity permission to “Allow”.

If you’d like to turn off auto-tracking, you’ll follow the same steps and toggle auto-tracking off by following these steps: 

  1. Tap Mileage.
  2. Tap Auto-tracking.
  3. Toggle Auto-tracking on.

Thanks for the quick update.

 

"Coming soon" means not available yet. We will wait for the future app upgrades for Androids before fully relying on it.
