Is it possible to create pro forma financial statements in quickbooks?

Hell adam-moonrisemed,

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks is designed to help you streamline your accounting. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track.

A Pro Forma is a non-posting transaction. That said, it's important that QuickBooks doesn't have the option for a Pro Forma, but the good thing is you can use an estimate instead. Since the estimate is also an non-posting transaction, you can use this as a Pro Forma by creating creating a custom estimate template. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to to Gear > Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click New Style and choose Estimate.
  3. Click the Content tab, then the Pencil icon at the top right panel and change "Estimate" to "Pro-Forma Invoice".
  4. Save the form style.

From here you can use this custom form to create invoices or as you wish to use them. You're welcome to ask other questions int he comments below. I'm here to help.

To clarify, I was referring to pro-forma income, cash flow, and balance sheet statements, not invoices. Thank you.

I see what you're saying. Since the Pro Forma financial statements aren't available in QuickBooks, I recommend sending feedback about this to our product developers. You can do this by clicking on the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. In the meantime, feel free to ask other questions. I'll be on standby.
