Can quickbooks accept American Express?

At the moment, QuickBooks Payments doesn't accept online payments from foreign bank accounts. You will need to try other apps in Canada that will help you with this payment processing.

If you are running a service company, you can utilize a proposal management app to integrate with QBO and accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover (Domestic), JCB, UnionPay, and Pre-Authorized Debit. Otherwise, consider having another merchant service to accept Amex.
