It's important to me that you have the correct information for how this works for the Canadian version of the software, and I'm here to help.
When you want to have customers pay by credit card for QuickBooks Online Canada, you can apply to use Intuit's merchant services feature, which is called QuickBooks Payments. The good news is you can even apply without even logging out of your account. Here's how.
- Select the Gear icon.
- Choose Account and settings.
- Click Payments.
- Select Learn more.
- Click Set up payments to begin the application process.
Before you get started, it's important to note that QuickBooks Payments Canada is intended for Canadian currency transactions received from Visa, Mastercard, and Discover Cards. It also works with Apple Pay for those card types. There's also a per transaction fee to keep in mind as well.
