Hi there maiduservices@gm,
It's important that you are able to send statements to your customers to be able to notify them of the amount they've paid in a certain period of time. QuickBooks Self-Employed is a great tool to help you with invoicing for your customers. I can provide some information about statements.
QuickBooks Self-Employed is a simpler program designed for the most basic parts of bookkeeping, like keeping track of invoices, expenses as well as mileage. Statements aren't able to be sent directly from within QuickBooks Self-Employed, but you can use information from within this article to know how to generate reports within QuickBooks Self-Employed in order to see some of your totals so that you can generate those statements outside of the software.
I can see how this feature would be an interesting addition to the software to be able to help you manage your sales. You can submit feedback in the system by navigating to the Assistant feature and typing "feedback". Comments made in this section are taken into consideration by our developers when designing new features for QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Can you do the same thing on QB Desktop?
Is there a way?
Hi there. Thanks for chiming in on this thread. Based on the details you've shared, I recommend running the Income by Customer Summary or the Sales by Customer Summary report. These reports can be found on the Reports Center in QBDT and they provide the info you need. If you'd like to learn more about customizing reports by date, amount and payment date, I encourage you to check out this article here. Let me know if you have other questions, I'll be here.
