Hi there,
QuickBooks Online comes stocked with tons of awesome reports you can review to help you run your business. Staying updated on your business health is essential for your success.
It's important to have a program that offers flexibility in your reporting, so you can see only the necessary information. I'll explain how you can edit the Sales by Customer Detail report to show only each invoice and not their details.
When you open your report, you'll see a small Gear icon appearing above the report. Click this icon, then click Show More to expand your options.
You'll want to un-check all the boxes for information you'd like to hide. Only the checked boxes will appear on your report, so in this case, you'll want to leave only the box for Transaction type checked off. You can play around with these settings to come up with the report you want.
That's all there is to it. If you have any other questions, please reach out to our tech support team.
Cheers!
Can you say how to do this in QBDT?
Thanks

Thanks James M4,
I have created the report and am looking for the just the invoice totals, not all the line items that make up the total. Haven't figured out how to do that. What am I missing?
Glad to hear back from you. Just to confirm, you're running the Sales by Customer report and you'd like to view just the invoice totals?
