In QuickBooks Self employed you can run a few different reports so you can get the information you need for your company. In order to get your GST total from expenses you can go to: Reports>Tax Summary and scroll to the bottom where your ITC's are located. This will show you the GST amount from expenses for the year. Once you upgrade you just need to go to Reports>Sales Tax>GST/HST Detail Report and make sure the date range is set to quarterly.
