Starting this November, agentic AI is coming to QuickBooks. It’s best-in-class technology that can handle everything from repetitive tasks to complex workflows, all while maintaining your full control. Leveraging agentic AI means spending less time chasing numbers and more time advising clients.
In QuickBooks, this technology comes to life in the form of our brand new Intuit AI agents. These agents are like your new digital teammates who work behind the scenes to make suggestions and keep things moving, all under your control. They’ll be embedded in QuickBooks, and each agent will handle tasks related to a specific area of business.
Accounting Agent: This agent will help keep books clean and accurate by automatically categorizing transactions, detecting and resolving anomalies, and reconciling accounts—flagging what needs attention or approval, and enabling accountants to focus on more strategic work.
Finance Agent: This agent will analyze financial data and automatically create forecasts, highlights variances, and pinpoints the source.
Customer Agent: This agent will spot leads from your client’s email inbox, draft personalized responses to be reviewed and approved, and track customer interactions, improving customer relationships and sales.
The AI agents will bring deeper automation to the QuickBooks features you know and love. They work primarily behind the scenes, but you’ll see a summary of their work in your business feed. You’ll be able to review and approve what they’ve done, and see actionable insights to inform next steps. The AI agents are built to complement your expertise so it’s easier for you to get work done and be a strategic partner to your clients.

With a reimagined interface, QuickBooks will make it easier than ever to get work done and have full line-of-sight into your client’s business in a single comprehensive view.
Powered by AI and connected data, the new interface will be like the control centre for everything business related. The place where you and your clients can review work that’s been completed for you by AI, see what’s in progress, highlight trends and anomalies, and provide proactive insights to inform next steps. All in a way that’s clear, customizable, and keeps you in the driver’s seat. In your client’s view you will see:
Business feed: You’ll see a summary of what’s been done for you by AI and automation features so you can review and approve the work quickly—and get back to high priority work. It will also help optimize your clients’ marketing efforts by combining data from Mailchimp and QuickBooks.
Improved insights and reporting: A customizable performance dashboard will track your clients’ financial health and highlight what needs your attention most. AI-powered insight will detect new trends or anomalies in a business—and what's driving them—so you don't have to spend time digging through transactions or analyzing reports. Plus, stay on top of business health with P&L and balance sheet insights.
Smart search: You’ll be able to quickly find transactions, customers, accounts, reports, help, and more with consolidated results from across the platform in the new unified search.
Built-in collaboration with clients: New chat features let you and your clients talk and work together in QuickBooks. This will make it easier to move projects forward and get work done faster.
Your first chance to experience this reimagined interface will start in late August when you and your clients will be able to opt in to early access. This rollout will begin in late August and continue into September. More detail on that later in this article.

Skip the back-and-forth between other apps and allow customers and leads to schedule phone or video meetings right in QuickBooks.

Stay focused on the right opportunities and track leads and their status in the sales cycle, from first contact to repeat business.
Centralized customer info
Easily prioritize your work with task sorting by project, customer, or due date to keep you organized for next steps. Keep customer info, notes, and to-dos organized and accessible.

Send and store contracts with e-signatures so you can stay organized and get deals done faster.

August 2025
Later this month, we’re launching the early access experience. This is your chance to get a first taste of QuickBooks on the Intuit platform. We encourage you to opt into early access so you can start to get familiar with the new look and feel, and support your clients during the change.
As an accountant user, you’ll be able to opt each client into the early access experience through their QuickBooks account. Or, you can opt-in all your clients at once through QuickBooks Online Accountant. During early access, you’ll have the option to revert to the previous QuickBooks experience.
November 2025
We’ll begin to roll out the full experience to QuickBooks customers. This will include more functionality than you’ll have during early access. This is when you’ll get to experience AI agents, integrated Customer Hub, and fully connected data and insights.
