Standard Reports in QuickBooks Online are getting a refresh. The new Modern Reports  will help you to keep producing the same reports you use today but with faster performance and additional customization options. 

Why is this happening? 

This refresh is the first step in our mission to improve Reports in QuickBooks Online so it’s easier for you to discover, create, analyze, and share. 

 Here’s what’s coming with the update:

• Tap into new templates that streamline the reporting process, promote accuracy and improve the effectiveness of financial reporting 
• Get more control over the data you pull into custom reports, and how you format and visualize it.
• Collaborate securely with improved user permissions for your team members.
• Faster loading times for your largest reports.

 When’s this happening?

We understand that changes in QuickBooks can cause potential friction in your workflow. To help you get familiar with the new experience, Modern Reports are now available to try on select reports in QuickBooks Online. Take advantage of features such as increased layout flexibility like column width, and overall ease of customization. You also have the ability to switch between Modern and Classic Reports.

Over the next couple months, we’ll bring Modern Reports to over 100 Standard Report templates. 

How can I learn more?

To experience the modern view live in QuickBooks Online, go to the Reports Centre and look for the magic wand icon beside the name of a report.
