Toronto, June 8, 2021— Intuit Canada, makers of QuickBooks, Canada’s leading financial management software, and Dataswitcher, a Netherlands-based technology company serving small & medium sized businesses and accounting professionals, have teamed up to bring a solution to accountants and SMEs who wish to transfer their books to QuickBooks Online.
In this alliance, Dataswitcher’s technology will enable accountants and bookkeepers to transfer their historical data from an outside accounting software over to QuickBooks Online’s suite of tools seamlessly, reducing the heavy lifting of manual conversion on accounting professionals and ensuring they can pick up where they left off.
This new feature is available without charge to customers wishing to transfer up to 2 years of data from Sage50 and Xero over to QuickBooks Online, and based on Dataswitcher’s calculations, ensures 90% of all successful migrations are completed in under 13 minutes, with conversions being completed within 48 hours. Customers are able to select the level of historic data they wish to bring along, including historical transactions, supplier data and balances and customer details (additional fees may apply).
“We know how important it is to the business advisor and their clients that the details of their books come along with them easily when moving to a cloud-based solution like QuickBooks Online. We wanted to provide them with an automated solution that they feel confident provides them with all of the data they need to continue to serve their clients,” said Aston Byfield, Chief Revenue Officer at Dataswitcher.
