Hi there, @KentN.

Thanks for joining us here in the Community. Allow me to share some information about the error 3371 that you received so you can get back on track.

I'd like to inform you that the error 3371 has been resolved. Having an older version of QuickBooks is one factor why you received the said error. But there's nothing to worry about our engineers have provided some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted out.

If the latest Windows updates are not installed, the QuickBooks Desktop installation can fail or become damaged. Make sure that Windows is up to date.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Windows logo.
  2. Select All Programs and click Windows Update.
  3. After installing the updates, install QuickBooks.

If you continue to receive the error, follow the steps provided in these articles in the order shown. If the first solution fixes the problem, you do not need to try the other articles.

For more information about this process, please visit this article: Error 3371: Could not initialize license properties.

This should keep you moving today, @KentN.
