The report I was trying to create is one of four that is required by contractors working for the State of California and I feel should be in your database. I wasted a week going from one place to another trying to get answers and wish the different departments would have just said they did not have that report and it can't be constructed. It's always easier to be upfront and as you say, try to correct.
I don't mind doing the excel outside of QB but as you are aware, transcribing figures into a report leaves open the possibility of errors. I love how reports just load right up when using a standard report in QB.
