Hey daw30064,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I will be delighted to assist you here. There are two options to do this. However, I always recommend speaking with your accountant to see what is the best fit for your business first. If you don't have one, I encourage you to use our Pro-Advisor services to connect with one. You can delete that deposit by following these steps:

- Click on Lists at the top menu bar.
- Select Chart of Accounts.
- Choose your bank and open the deposit.
- Press on Ctrl+D on your keyboard.
- Click on OK.
- Select OK when asked to delete the transaction.

This should help you remove/delete the deposit and then you can proceed to create the invoice and link a deposit to the correct customer.
