Account setting is stuck on saying my payment method has a problem for a few months. tried multiple cards that all work. HELP?

As soon as I hit the Account and settings tab a new window pops up that says "We couldn't process your payment. Make sure your billing info is up to date."
Payments have been going through just fine and ive tried multiple other cards but nothing works. Its also asking me to subscribe to Live Cleanup for $500, which I dont want to do, but hitting the subscribe button for that is the only thing I havn't tried to see if it clears the error but I dont want to risk getting charged by trying it. Please help

Sometimes, too much cache accumulated in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. This can be why you're getting this error message when opening the Account and settings

 

To isolate the issue, we can run some basic troubleshooting steps to address the problem. You can start by opening QuickBooks in a private browser. This will help us check if the error is a browser-related concern. 

 

Here are the keyboard shortcut keys you can press to open incognito:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P.
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift P.
  • Safari:  Command Shift N

 

Once done, try opening the Account and settings again. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If the same things happen, use another supported browser instead.
