Buy nowHi, the client currently has a QuickBooks account where they manage their books. We were requested to assume the bookkeeping. How do we transfer the account for us without adding more cost. Client already pay for this.
You can transfer an account to another individual by making them the new primary admin, wrinehart. I'll provide more details to help you accomplish your goal.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the primary admin has the highest permissions level, allowing them to supervise all users and admin tasks. You can be assigned to this role to assume the bookkeeping. Also, note that only the primary admin can initiate the role transfer. This process will not incur additional costs if you don't modify the billing information under your account.
To begin with, ensure that you're an existing user of the company file. If that's not the case, please have yourself invited accordingly.
After that, here's how to assign the new primary admin:
For more information, refer to this article: Change the primary admin user in QuickBooks Online.
Moreover, consider scanning this material for guidance if the current primary admin is no longer with the company: Request to be the primary admin or contact.
On the other hand, you might want to utilize the audit log to keep track of the activities within your book, including who performs them and when they happen.

Hi Kinberly, thanks for your reply.
If my user is pointed as an admin for this account. Will I and others on my organization be able to access this account on our account? Meaning, whenever we access QuickBooks online, we will see all companies we have + this new one?
Hello wrinehart,
Thanks for responding! You won't be able to until the new master admin invites the other organization members to the new account. However, once the new master admin invites you, the other users should have access as you desire.

Hi, I asked to join the LDP Partners, LLC team. Now on my products and billing I can see Clearwater and LDP.
How can I navigate between accounts? Is there a way to see all in the same dashboard?
Will other Clearwater team members be able to access LDP?
thanks
I appreciate your return to this thread and providing an update on your concern, @wrinehart. Let me chime in and provide information on how to navigate between accounts, view both accounts in the same dashboard, and access the LDP account for the Clearwater team members.
You can easily navigate between accounts by selecting the Switch Company option in the Gear icon and choosing the correct account. Here's how:
However, please note that currently, we are unable to view both accounts in the same dashboard.
On the other hand, only those Clearwater team members who have access to the LDP account can view it.
For future reference, you can check these articles to learn more about managing users, and to know what to do if you're having trouble signing in to your Intuit Account:

Thanks for the information, very helpful. Now I can switch between accounts. Is there a way to see LDP account on Clearwater Dashboard?
I'll take a moment to share some helpful insights on how we can effectively navigate between Clearwater and LDP Partners, LLC in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Rinehart.
The option to see the LDP Partners, LLC account on your Clearwater dashboard is unavailable in QBO. You'll need to use the Switch company feature, which allows you to select the company you want to view. You can follow the steps provided by my colleague above to perform it.
In addition, you can add and manage users in QBO to give individual permissions for specific tasks.
