I have tried for over 4 months to have QuickBooks refund a 20K+ tax payment that they removed from my bank account, they did not send it to the tax department,.
I have called over 7 times, every time I called I hear the same thing.
They see where they took the $, they will contact me back.
Then the case gets closed without any resolution. The last time I was told I would see the refund in 7 to 10 days. Then the case got closed again and there was no refund.
Has anyone had any luck recovering their $.
I have contacted by bank about filing fraud charges, I am also in the process of filing with the FDIC.
Any advise on this issue.
This isn't the kind of experience that I'd like you to have, @EW Julie.

Last week January 18th 2024 QuickBooks took almost 12k out of my bank account for payroll tax payment and I don't even use them for payroll. Just got another email today that they are attempting to take more of the same amount tomorrow. This has put my business at a complete stand still. Bills and employees are unpaid cause I'm not a big enough business to take a hit like this..
I understand encountering charges for a service you did not use can be challenging, totalxteriors.

It's essential to get to the bottom of why this is happening and prevent any further charges. When you contact the support team, please provide them with specific details regarding the charge, such as the date and amount and whether it's recurring or a one-time instance.
