Apple billing transfer to Accountant

My accountant is looking to have me transfer billing to him.

when I go to “Subscriptions and Billing” it says I am on Apple Billing and gives no other information. How do I change this so I can transfer the billing to my accountant?

Apple billing transfer to Accountant

Welcome to the Community, YScobbie.

You can transfer your Apple billing to Inuit in QuickBooks Online (QBO) in two ways. First, you can contact our support team, and they will guide you through the process. Please note that this option requires your subscription under Apple to be active. Once done, you can have your accountant take over your billing.

Here's how to get permission to take over the billing:

  1. If you are the primary admin, sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and click Account and settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription.
  4. Click the Allow billing transfer to your accountant link.

For more detailed steps you can check this article: Transferring clients to your firm-billed subscriptions.

Afterwards, you can cancel your Apple subscription.

Another option is to cancel the Apple subscription and have an accountant add you to their Pro Advisor Preferred Pricing plan and subscribe to a new QBO company for them. Then, you can move your list from the old to the new one.

Additionally, in case you are interested in using our payroll services to transfer and bill from Apple to Intuit directly, check this article: Transfer your billing to QuickBooks to sign up for QuickBooks Online Payroll.

I'll be around in case you have additional queries about transferring to QuickBooks Online. Just click the Reply button, and I'll get back to you.
