Attach location to existing transactions

Hello, I just upgraded my subscription to Advanced so I can track all my transactions
by location. I'm adding a new location on Monday (3/7) and going forward I will add location to all new transactions. But all the existing transactions belong to my old location. Can quickbooks help me attaching the old location (Coppell) to all the existing transactions?
It is 3+ years of data and will be time consuming task for someone to go transaction by transaction and attach the location. It is something that can be done with a command at backend.
Appreciate if Quickbooks can help me with this onetime request. Otherwise the subscription upgrade does not make sense and I would rather open another basic account.
Hope I can get some help soon.

Attach location to existing transactions

Welcome to the Community, QuickSID.

Let me guide you in attaching location to your existing transactions in QuickBooks Online.

In QuickBooks Online Advance, you can easily reclassify multiple transactions in just a few steps. You just need to make sure to set up and add a location in QuickBooks.

To reclassify transactions:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon at the top.
  3. Choose Reclassify Transactions.
  4. Filter the date and use other filter options.
  5. Tap on Find transactions.
  6. Click the box beside DATE to select all transactions or select the transactions you want to reclassify.
  7. Once done, select Reclassify.
  8. Choose the Location, then Apply.

I've added this article for more information: Reclassify or move multiple transactions at once.

You can also check out this link and learn how to customize sales forms by location.

Feel free to get back to me if you still have other concerns about the location tracking feature. I'll be around if you need help. Have a nice day!
