Authenticator settings don't work. How can I remove my phone number as a user?

I'm here to assist you every step of the way, Akeller. Let me guide you through the process of managing your phone number in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Together, we'll ensure that your information is updated correctly and securely.

 

In QBO, once you input a phone number, you cannot completely delete it from the account. Instead, you'll need to replace it with a new one.

 

Regarding the Authenticator settings, did you encounter an error? Are you having problems receiving the authentication codes?

 

First, ensure that you are a primary or company admin to make changes to your account information.

 

To update your phone number, please refer to the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. Tap the profile icon and click Manage your Intuit Account.

  3. Go to the Sign in & Security tab and select the Phone section.

  4. Hit Change. Then, enter the new contact details.

  5. Press Save.
