I'll provide details about the backup feature in QuickBooks Online.
Downloading your data is possible in QBO. This feature is exclusive to the QBO Advance subscription.
If you're using a different version, consider exporting your data to successfully get a copy of your files. Otherwise, here's how you can backup a company file.
Here's how:
- Sign in to your QBO company as an admin.
- Click on the Gear icon and choose Back up company.
- Select Backup from the menu, then select New Manual Backup.
- Pick the Company you want to manually back up.
- From the Backup Type dropdown, select Full, Incremental, or Complete.
- Choose Request Backup.
