Hello there, @best dog.

 

You'll first have to find a live accountant in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, you can arrange with them the means of communication (i.e., via email) you're comfortable with when scheduling an appointment. Let me guide you how.

  1. Go to the My Accountant menu.
  2. Select the Find a pro to help button.
  3. Fill in all the necessary details about your location, service provided, and industry served. Then the system will automatically recommend accountants in nearby areas.
  4. Once you find and choose an accountant, select the Letter icon to send a message to communicate with them.

 

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the last two steps.

After that, you can now add and invite your accountant to have access to your QBO company file and accounting info. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to this article: Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online.

Thanks so much I really appreciate this.  We are in Texas & frozen solid!  Hope to get internet back tomorrow.  I have an additional problem that I can’t seem to break through. We moved in January.  I have been trying to give them our new address, have tried everything and can’t break through to speak with anyone.  On top of that, I got a message, last week my credit card of record was rejected! I can’t get through to even straighten this out!  I have already paid for a Live Accountant subscription,  and fear I will lose this!  Can you offer some help with this mess??

You got me here and I'll help you change your new address in QuickBooks Online. To do it, here's how:  

 

 

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Company tab.
  3. Tap the pencil icon from Address menu. 
  4. Enter your Company address.
  5. If you want the same address that your customers can see in their transaction forms, click the tick box beside Same as company address under Customer-facing address section. (Please see attached file below)
  6. Press the Save button once done. 

 

This will then update the address of your company where your customers can contact you.

However, regarding credit card rejection, I suggest reaching out to our customer support team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure session and help you with credit card issues.

I can’t thank you enough!!  Right now, we’re in Texas, literally freezing!! Texas isn’t at all prepared for this weather.  So, presently internet is down, blackouts of electricity every FIFTEEN minutes, little dogs that don’t 

have a clue what to do.  But I will try each of your great recommendations ASAP, and, again, thanks so much!!
