When completing the QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification, the Learning Modules and Module Reviews at the end of each section can be completed at your leisure. You'll have as many attempts as you'd like on the individual reviews. Once you feel ready to take the Exam, you'll need to complete the entire thing in one sitting. We recommend allowing up to three (3) hours for fully completing the exam. Each section of the Exam requires an 80% score to pass.
Per our thorough guide on the Advanced Certification: you can make up to three attempts to pass the whole exam. If you do not pass in the first three attempts, you are locked out for 60 days. When the 60 days are up, you can take the certification exam again.

Can I take the advanced certification exam module wise ? Will that be considered as one attempt or multiple attempts ?
Failed the advanced certification twice now, been locked out for the second time for 60 days! And I only failed ONE section apparently! I screen shot my review questions/answers and have looked at them again and again.....I can't see where my answers were incorrect?! I call QBO customer support and get NOWHERE! Just reminding me that I can try again in 60 days....which I knew that. They can't tell me where my answers were wrong, they can't tell me or explain to me where my mistake might have been.....AND they can't guide me to more intense training documents or materials to help me! Not to mention that I deeply feel the test is flawed. The section I missed had 2 questions that were duplicates! Isn't that a good sign that the test is flawed? Something is wrong and QBO needs to provide direct support and real resolutions.....not just a hug and a cheer. Yeah, I'm a little salty. I feel I should at the VERY least have an option of appeal! (there's your legalize for the day...lol) I could easily have submitted confirmation to almost every answer I gave with screen shots of the training materials that provided me that answer. But there is NO appeal process or alternative to exam review. So....with the SAME training material provided in QBO and the same test procedures, guess what? I'll probably flunk again because I deeply believe the test is flawed! I guess I expected someone from QBO to review my answers and tell me where I messed UP! (cuz I don't think I did!)
