Can I use my debit card to Subscribe after my trial period

You certainly can, Jacqueline. I'll be glad to show you how to subscribe to QuickBooks Online so you can continue where you left off.

QuickBooks Online accepts credit or debit cards for subscriptions like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. For your debit card, make sure you've entered the correct bank information.

If you're still using the free trial, you'll want to go to the Billing & Subscription page. From there, you can see the remaining days before the trial period ends. By subscribing, we can also keep your account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Billing & Subscription tab, then click the Subscribe button.
  3. Complete the Payment information page. Make sure to use a debit card that has a US-based billing address. US territories are excluded.
  4. Press Subscribe.

After that, you'll need to log out and log back in to refresh the program. Then, let's go back to the Billing & Subscription section to check the Next charge date. Please know that this happens overnight, so the charge doesn't occur until after midnight. For more information about subscribing, changing your subscription, or just viewing your billing history in QBO, refer to this article: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

If your trial period has ended, you can transfer your data from your existing company (under a free plan) to the new one. You just have to log in to your trial account to export your list reports (suppliers, customers, inventory, and chart of accounts) to an Excel file. Then, import them to your new QuickBooks Online account.

In case you encounter issues when subscribing or paying for your current subscription, see this reference for some troubleshooting steps you can take: Unable to subscribe to QuickBooks Online.

Also, here are some video tutorials that can help you get started with QuickBooks Online: Video tutorials for QuickBooks Online.

Make the most out of QuickBooks exploration. If you have any debriefing about the process, feel free to share them with us in this post. I welcome the opportunity to respond immediately.
