Can QB's online generate the official ESD 5208 form once the form has been filed? Not the report of hours worked but the official form from the state?

Hi kerrianne. Once you've filed forms within QuickBooks Online using the e-file service, you can access them via the Archived  Forms section. Here's how to get there:

1. From the Taxes menu, select Payroll Tax.
2. Select View Archived Forms in the Quarterly Forms or Annual Forms section.
3. Choose the desired form.
4. Select View.

And there you have it, your form will pop up after you select view and you can continue doing what you needed. But, am I not correct, that is if you only e-filed the report through QB's Online? If so, when you e-file but manually send your payment in how long does it take for the archived form to appear in your account?

Hi kerrianne. Thanks for the reply. Yes, you are correct, only forms filed or created within QuickBooks Online will appear inside of the archived forms section. If you filed and paid it outside of the system, it will not appear in the archived forms section. I'll be here if you need anything else. 

How can you get this form in the desktop version

As also mentioned above, you can view the forms filed using QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

1. Choose Payroll Center from the Employees menu.
2. Click the File Forms tab from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the Save Filings or E-Filings tab under Filing History.
4. To see the form, click on it.
