Can't generate last year P&L

@MoschatumServices  Can you describe what happens when you try?

Would you be willing to share the steps you've taken before arriving at the conclusion that you can't generate your last year's P&L, Moschatum Services? Did you receive any error messages by chance? It would also be beneficial to us if you could share screenshots of what you've got. This way, we can guide you on the right path.

For now, kindly check if you selected the correct date range for the previous year. Also, please verify that all your transactions for the year have been entered and categorized properly. You should also check for any filters that may be limiting the data displayed.

If you're using QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can generate your last year's P&L report by following these steps:

1. Go to the Reports tab.
2. Click on Company & Financial, then select Profit & Loss Standard.
3. Filter the date of the report to Last year, then click Refresh.

On the other hand, if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can follow the steps below:
 

1. Go to Reports, then select Standard reports.
   
   
    
2. Enter Profit and Loss in the Type report name here field. Alternatively, you can go to the Favorites section and click on Profit and Loss.
   
   
    
3. Select Last year from the Report period dropdown, then choose either Accrual or Cash from the Accounting method dropdown.
   
   
    
4. Adjust the Filter option when necessary, then select the Refresh report option.
