Can we add project name to A/P aging detail

Glad to see you in the Community, CrystalK.

Adding a project name to the A/P Aging Detail Report is unavailable at this time. However, you can export the report to tailor the data.

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Reports menu on the left panel to enter A/P Aging Detail in the search field box.
  2. This will display all the transactions.
  3. From there, click the Export icon in the upper right to select Export to Excel.

  4. After downloading the report, open it and then manually input the project name.

Can we add project name to A/P aging detail

Good day, TIC-Linda.

Let me help and share what I know about running a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As of now, the option to Add a project name to the A/P Aging Detail Report is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I can see how this functionality would be beneficial to your business. I encourage sending feedback directly to our Product Development team. This helps us improve the features of the program.

Here's how to submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Help menu and then select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Choose Product Suggestion.
  3. Add the type of feedback.
  4. Type in your feature suggestion.
  5. Once done, click Send Feedback.

In the meantime, we can run the Project Profitability. Then click the Total Expense to show the transactions report. From there, you can make necessary customizations and then filter the Customer and A/P paid to Unpaid.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, select  Project and click Project/Customer.
  2. Select the Project Reports and click Project Profitability and click View.
  3. Click the amount of the Total Expenses.
  4. Set the desired date range and add any other filters by selecting the Customize button in the top right corner.
  5. Once done, click Run Report.

Feel free to post again if you have further concerns running your reports. Have a great day ahead.
