I have had QuickBooks desktop for at least 15 years. Now there is a list of "items" that I'm paying for (999.00). We closed the business back in March 24. Is there a phone number where I could talk to someone about how to properly close any Intuit/Quickbooks ? thanks

Firstly, it’s important to note that even after cancellation, you’ll still have access to your data for one year. I recommend exporting your reports as Excel workbooks to maintain records for future reference. Once you’ve secured your data, here’s how to proceed with canceling your subscription:
If your email isn't linked to an existing account, one will be created automatically for you. However, if there is already an account associated with your email, you may need to claim it. Can you login to CAMPS and find your license code there? You can cancel your subscription from CAMPS and ask for the refund within 60 days after the renewal date. Then you can use the trial version to access your archive files for good if required.
