Cancel payments subscription

Good afternoon climatecontrolll!

 

Thanks for connecting with the QuickBooks Community! We are sorry to see you go, but I will share the details on canceling your payment subscription.

 

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center as an admin user.
  2. Select the Account tab and then Account Profile.
  3. Select Close Account. If you don't see this option, make sure you're signed in as the account admin.
  4. In the Reason for Closing dropdown, select a reason and add any comments you'd like to share.
  5. When you're ready, select Submit.

 

Once we process your request, you'll get an email within one business day that confirms your QuickBooks Payments account is closed.

I have had QuickBooks desktop for at least 15 years.  Now there is a list of "items" that I'm paying for (999.00).  We closed the business back in March 24.  Is there a phone number where I could talk to someone about how to properly close any Intuit/Quickbooks ?  thanks

Firstly, it’s important to note that even after cancellation, you’ll still have access to your data for one year. I recommend exporting your reports as Excel workbooks to maintain records for future reference. Once you’ve secured your data, here’s how to proceed with canceling your subscription:

 

  1. Log into your CAMPs account.
  2. Select the QuickBooks Desktop Account you want to modify.
  3. In the Products & Services section, find your subscription or service and click on Details.
  4. If you’re sure you no longer need the service, select Cancel Service.
  5. Please let us know why you're leaving so we can improve our services. After providing any details (optional), press Continue to cancel.
  6. Confirm your action by hitting Cancel Now.

 

If your email isn't linked to an existing account, one will be created automatically for you. However, if there is already an account associated with your email, you may need to claim it. For detailed instructions, refer to the "Can’t sign in to CAMPs?" section of the article: Change, manage or update your Intuit account with CAMPs.

Can you login to CAMPS and find your license code there? You can cancel your subscription from CAMPS and ask for the refund within 60 days after the renewal date. Then you can use the trial version to access your archive files for good if required.
