Cannot resubscribe to quickbooks online on two of my accounts. My accountant was fired and when she unsubscribed the companies I was not able to resubscribe.

Cannot resubscribe to quickbooks online on two of my accounts. My accountant was fired and when she unsubscribed the companies I was not able to resubscribe.

I can help reactivate your account, mjc5. 

 

There are three things that we can do. If you're able to log in, let's update your billing info to reactivate the account:

 

Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. In the Billing & Subscription section, click on Resubscribe button. 
  4. Enter your new billing information. 

Then, please make sure to change the master admin. Here's an article for the steps: Change your QuickBooks Online master admin user

 

If you can't log in but you can access the email address used for your QuickBooks Online, let's try resetting your login credentials: 

  1. On the sign in page
  2. Click on I forgot my user ID and Password
  3. Enter your phone number, email or user ID. 
  4. Select where you would want to send the code. 
  5. Click on Continue
  6. Enter the code.
  7. Then, click on Continue to log in. 

If you're not able to log in and the email address registered is from your accountant, you'll have to request for an account change. This process may take some time because we need to verify your claim. Here's how: Change the email address you use to sign in

 

Our support team can also help reactivating your account. It could be that the account is on hold due to some direct deposit or electronic services issues that is why you can't resubscribe. Let's get that removed: 

 

If you can log in to your account:

  1. Click on the Help icon.
  2. Select Contact us.
  3. Enter reactivate account and click on Let's talk.
  4. Choose a way to contact us by starting a message or requesting a callback. 

If you can't log in:

  1. Please go to this site: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact
  2. Select QuickBooks Online Accountant.
  3. Select a topic.
  4. Choose either Get a Phone Number or Start a Message
