Cash vs. Accrual Setting

Hello there, @Shelley1973.

 

If you're referring to changing the Summary Report Basis to Accrual, you can change it by going to the Preferences. Allow me to help guide you how.

 

  1. Click on Edit at the top menu bar.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click on Reports & Graphs from the left pane.
  4. Go to the Company Preferences.
  5. Select Accrual under Summary Reports Basis.
  6. Click OK.

Once done, all your reports will default to Accrual basis.
