I made a reimbursable expense transaction on 12/30 via on-line banking. i initiated the transfer through my personal account drawing from my business account. I completed the transfer on 12/30 and the money was deposited into my personal account on 12/30, however the money was not withdrawn from my business account until 1/2/24. so now that expense is showing up in 2024 instead of 2023 where i need it. Is it possible to change this? If so how? I use QB online

Let me add some details when recording transactions in QuickBooks, Flash.
You can change information on your QuickBooks transactions if you haven't closed your books yet or reconciled them. It doesn't matter if the reimbursable transaction date is different with your Online Banking since what appears in your bank is when the transaction was cleared.
To edit the transfer, you can click the magnifying glass icon. Then locate the transfer transaction to open it. I've added a screenshot below for a visual guide:
Also, QuickBooks downloads the latest transactions automatically. Once done, it suggests categories based on how you and other customers categorized them. Read this article for more information: Categorize Online Bank Transactions In QuickBooks Online.

I have the same issue, but I was able to change the date of the transaction. However, when I run a report for last year, my date change transactions are not part of the Profit and Loss report. Suggestions??
Thank you for joining this thread, jemter. Let me help you with your Profit and Loss transactions in QuickBooks so that you can check and manage them accurately.
To start, let's verify if you have entered the accurate transaction period under the Report period. Make sure to fill in the correct transaction date and year. We can also switch from the Cash to Accrual method and vice versa because each method shows data and reports your income and expenses differently.
I've provided a screenshot below as your visual reference:
However, if the issue persists, we can try troubleshooting your regular browser to narrow down the result. First, try logging out and signing in again with your QBO account. If your needed transactions are still not showing up, let's log in with your account using a private browser.
Using the incognito mode prevents websites from using cookies and doesn’t record any history and data. To do so, we can follow these shortcut keys on your keyboard:
If you're able to pull up your wanted Profit and Loss transactions after using the incognito mode, it's safe to say that this is a browser issue. We can fix this by clearing your cache and cookies.
Also, I'll leave this article about memorizing a report that allows you to save it with its current customization settings: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
