changing log in information

I have been using my personal email address to log into both my personal items (Turbo Tax) and the companies that I am part owner of.   I have a new work email address that I would like to use for all the companies while leaving my personal email address for personal items like Turbo Tax.    Is there an easy way to do this?

changing log in information

Yes, there's a way to change your login information, JP141. I'm here to guide you in completing this task.

You can update your credentials such as user ID, password, email address, and other details by signing in to your Intuit Account or QuickBooks products. All your Intuit products such as QuickBooks, TurboTax, Credit Karma, and our professional tax products are linked to your Intuit Account, so any adjustments made will reflect.

To change your email address in QuickBooks, here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click your Profile icon next to Settings, then select Manage your Intuit Account.
  3. In the Intuit Account Manager, select Sign in & security.
  4. Choose the User ID, Email address, Password, or Phone section.
  5. Make your changes.
  6. When you're done, select Save.

Moreover, to ensure your customers see the correct contact information for your company on sales forms, you can also update your email address in the company settings

For more details about changing your email address, user ID, password, and other information for your QuickBooks, TurboTax, or Credit Karma products, please see this article: Update your Intuit Account sign-in information.

Additionally, you can modify your settings and activate or deactivate features within QuickBooks Online. To know more about this, check out this article: Edit company settings in QuickBooks Online.
