Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. The "Custom Transaction Number" setting does not automatically turn on and off. If you'd like the setting turned on, you'll need to manually change it. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Pick Account and Settings under the "Your Company" column.
- Choose the Sales tab.
- Press the Edit (Pencil) icon on the Sales form content section.
- Check the box beside Custom transaction numbers to turn the feature/setting on.
