First, you must be subscribed to QBO to migrate your data from QBDT. You also have 90 days from the time you create your QBO account to move your data. If you’re unsure how long your company has been set up, sign in to QuickBooks Online.

Please note that If your QuickBooks Desktop version is 2021 or older or you don’t have access to QuickBooks Desktop, you'll have to use the web-based migration tool.
