Join nowHello there, DianeOffutt,
I can share some information about the QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor Certification Exam.
Effective December 31, 2018, our Support Team will be discontinuing the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification training modules and exam.
ProAdvisors who are currently QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certified on or before the cutoff point, will have their certification status extended for 3 years. The lifetime status takes effect starting January 1, 2019, until January 1, 2022. There will be no new QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certifications granted after this date.
To know more about the QuickBooks Desktop Advanced Certification Discontinuation, please check out this article: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1768027
Please feel free to let me know if there's anything you need help with your QuickBooks program. I'm here to get you back on track.
I understand Intuit is discontinuing the Desktop ADVANCED exam, however, what about the regular, Desktop Certified ProAdvisor Exam? Is the REGULAR exam also cancelled?
I normally take the exam every November, and I do not see any info in my account or on Intuits message boards.
Allow me to chime in, DianeOffutt.
The current update is that you can still take the QuickBooks Desktop Certification (regular) for previous versions (2018 and below) until December 31, 2018.
