Hello tmemdy,
Currently, these features are unavailable in QuickBooks Online. However, you can visit our App store to check any app that compatible with these options.
You can also visit this site that contains resources for software development: Intuit Developer.
Please don't hesitate to post again with any questions. Have a great day!
Chiming in, we also need SAML support for logging into QuickBooks Online with Azure AD.
Has there been any change in this feature? The last response was over a year ago, does Quickbooks Online support Azure single sign on?
this does not answer the question. WHEN WILL YOU SUPPORT AZURE SSO? People do not want to build their own custom apps. It is almost 2022, Azure SSO should be standard for every single web development application. Can QB give us an estimated timeline when this will be available please?
Welcome to the Community, @ThibJ.
Currently, Azure SSO is still not supported with QuickBooks Online. You can follow my colleagues' suggestions above as a workaround.
Also, our Developer team is working to make your experience with QuickBooks get better and better. You can send feedback so they can look into adding this feature.
Follow these steps:
Here is an article for more information to submit feedback: How do I submit feedback?.
Then, you can check our feedback page to check for updates and vote for the same requests.
Please feel welcome to send a reply if you have additional questions about the Single Sign-On feature. Have a great day!
Here to bump this thread. This Azure SSO should be supported.
Agree, this is a much needed feature for those many organizations who use Office 365/Azure and who do not use Google.
Me three. Google Cloud ID is a no brainer for SSO access. It's free with every paid Google Workspace account. Every small business that is your client is likely to have Google or Microsoft and will want this function. Please implement this soon.
Any Updates on the Azure AD support for SSO. This would be an added benefit for our staff on quickbooks time
Hi fitchnolan13,
I can route you to our dedicated community forum of developers so you'd be guided in configuring Azure AD with QuickBooks.
Also, you can visit our QuickBooks API Blog, so you can get recent news and updates about this topic.
Feel free to leave a Reply below if you need further assistance about setting up multiple companies in QuickBooks Online.
OK here we go SSO fanboys May, 2022, Does QBO support any form of SSO with any Idp whatsoever ?
Joining the conversation to help with your question about managing QBO logins, aollivierre.
There's an integration between QBO and Google SSO. This allows users to sign in to the program using their Google credentials.
However, using IdP initiated SSO is currently not supported in QuickBooks Online. Customer's feedback and feature requests play a very important role whenever product updates are designed. Let me share these steps on how you can send them from your QBO account:
We also have a dedicated forum for developers as previously shared in the earlier responses. You can visit the site and post integration-related inquiries if you're a developer. Here's the link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/.
I have more articles to share just in case you might be needing them when logging in to QBO:
As always, we're ready to answer questions and help you again if you need anything else.
Also need this for my business which manages multiple Quo subscription - SSO for MS Azure is a must if we continue to scale (as we expect to).
Good day, grantjs.
Thanks for coming here and sharing your thoughts about the features that your business needs. Our product engineers would love to hear more about having an SSO for MS Azure which is why I encourage you to share your suggestion through our feedback option in QBO. For the steps on how to do so, you can follow JenoP's instructions.
Otherwise, you can visit this link to send your feedback and suggestions: QBO Feedback.
It'll be always my pleasure to help if you have any other questions. Just keep me posted in the comment section down below.
Honestly one would assume it isn't necessary for users to pester Intuit for a feature which one would consider a requirement for a business oriented product.
Office 365 is essentially a standard in the business community at this point. The lack of IDP initiated SSO or even better, direct Azure AD integration at this point makes the product a no-go for us.
Just bumping this thread up again and agreeing with everyone else in this chat. It is very irritating that the only response we can get from Intuit is to go post on another developer forum and/or punt us to the feedback mechanism. I will admit, I did go post the feedback at the link provided, but the confirmation states exactly what I expected, and why I think most feel that it is a waste of time.
Thank you for your feedback!
We regret we cannot respond to any questions here.
Although we are unable to respond individually to your suggestion, we would like to emphasize again how important and valuable your ideas are.
🙄
This is ridiculous... Intuit is such a big organization it should be able to configure SSO with Azure Active Directory
Chiming in for general SSO support with standard SAML 2.0 to any IdP via SP initiated logins. Azure, Office 365, Ping Identity, Shibboleth should all be supported for user directories in the enterprise.
Thanks for joining the Community and getting involved with this thread, rlvgq.
I can certainly understand how an option to use Single sign-on (SSO) for Azure, Office 365, Ping Identity, and Shibboleth could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.
You can submit your own feature requests while using QuickBooks.
Here's how:
Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.
You also have the option of checking our QuickBooks App Store for apps which may be able to help you accomplish what you're looking to do.
If there's any questions, I'm just a post away. Have a wonderful day!
Bumping for Azure AD SSO.
Yep. It's still insane. Don't even have it for their $2400/yr advanced plans.
Another request for Azure SSO / SAML 2.0 integration. This is a deal breaker for us and will be leaving the platform.
Another Request for SSO for Azure!
