Exporting discount list from desktop

Hello,

I am in the process of exporting data from QuickBooks POS, and I've found that our hundreds of automatic discounts are not included in the inventory spreadsheet. I found the discount list in the price manager, but I'm unable to export or copy the information. Additionally, neither the inventory spreadsheet nor the discount list codes discounts to products unless I print an individual discount from the price manager. Is there a way to export the discount list as a CSV file in such a way as to tie discounts to products?

Thank you!

Exporting discount list from desktop

Hello there, @seacut78.

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us today. Yes, you can export the discount list as a CSV file, then import it up to 65,000 rows at a time.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu, then select Item List.
  2. Choose the Excel drop-down, then select Export all Items.
  3. In the Export window, click Create a comma-separated values (.csv) file.
  4. Select Export, then assign a file name, and then save the file.
  5. Locate, open, and edit the file as needed.

Thank you for the response. I've followed the steps you gave, but it seems that I'm still just exporting the product list without the automatic discounts listed in the price manager. I have every available field included in the export file. In the price manager, I can view the products to which each individual discount applies, but it doesn't give me a way to export the list. I'd rather not have to reenter discount information manually for over 4,000 products.

Thanks again!
